According to a recent telegram from His Majesty's Ambassador

at Tokyo Japanese General Staff have informed the Military Attaché

there that Germany has stopped the sale of arms of China. I shall

be glad to learn whether you or Consular Officers at the principal

German parts have any information tending to confirm or controvert

this statement.
